very friendly service, very clean, the walkways and gardens are immaculate! Firewood and fire starter supplied, lake is crystal clear, beautiful beach, absolutely amazing experience! Highly recomend getting the keg for your room, absolutely worth it. I will absolutely be back and will recommend it to everyone! Can't wait to go back!! Thank you Muskoka Beer Resort
We stayed overnight at the beer spa in December. We stayed in a 3 br cabin. The cabin was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. We only stayed for a night so the non potable water wasn't really an issue as we brought water in. We did the infrared sauna at night and again in the morning. While not as hot as most saunas it was so warm and cosy. I was in a bathing suit and had to cool off with snow a few times. It was a great spot to hang out and have coffee. The star of the show is the brewery. The food is amazing and the service is awesome. Overall this was a great little getaway and great value for the price. We will definitely be back!
We had a nice stay at the BeerSpa! The crash cabins are a great size for an overnight stay, we liked how you could access the spa ahead of time if your room wasn’t ready as well as the day after as part of your room! The amenities were clean, the taco truck was amazing! The only suggestion we would have would be to ensure all of the saunas etc are in good working order, some were just off with no signage, and the steam sauna seemed broken or settings wrong, it was pumping out steam and was extremely hot (I have been to several steam saunas before and it was never like this) and didn’t have the greatest smell.. the hive sauna was just off with no signage when we went so that cut two saunas out for us which we would’ve enjoyed to be able to use.
5 of my best girls and I had a weekend there. We were so impressed with how beautiful and well kept the grounds are! So well maintained and so clean! We stayed in the rustic cabin in September and it was what we expected and we read the “what to bring” so we were prepared. Don’t expect much from the cabin, very basic. Not so clean in terms of spider webs but sinks and toilets were! The beds are not good lol so don’t expect a good sleep. We really loved the free fire wood !! Maybe supply us with lighters that work . Or definitely bring your own. We had no starters either. The pool was beautiful, cold and refreshing. Don’t expect it to be heated. The hot tub is HOT and wonderful!! Loved spending the day by the pool/hot tub. It was wonderful. The lake is stunning. So clean and clear!! We really enjoyed the saunas! Also so clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and so nice! We really enjoyed our stay and think it’s a great place to visit with the people you love! Thanks for making our stay a great one Beer Spa! Also the taco truck was the BEST TACOS EVER!!! I could have had 30!
This place deserves a 5-star rating, however some of the older cabins are in need of a little tlc. We had a great time in our group of 6 over NYE. We enjoyed the saunas, cold plunge in the lake and a fantastic prime rib buffet dinner at the Bala Bay Inn for NYE. Staff were super friendly and very accounting. Beds were comfy and all in all, we had an amazing time. Will definitely be back!
I really loved my time at the beer spa. It was laid back and the vibe was very fun! Staff were super nice, massages were amazing. Saunas did not get as hot as I would have liked but the steam room was awesome. I like the hot pools as I am not a fan of jets, so I found them better than a traditional hot tub. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. A beautiful, fun, relaxing and rustic staycation!
Very cool place! Lovely cabins, great saunas and a sandy beach with water are kept unfrozen for cold plunging. All adjacent to an awesome brewery with delicious food. Highly recommend!
This place is so great, and having nature around us gave it another level of special. Being my first spa experience, I didn't know what to expect, but within minutes of hitting the hot tub, it felt amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the other guests were engaging in conversation. The only letdown was that there were no VHS or VCR in the room, even though the website had said there would be. I can't wait to go back; this might become our yearly tradition.
